I believe the prompt was "Player/Playing" or some such

Sam was a lonesome ranger on the run. Running from everything, people, problems, herself. She carried the lycanthropy curse and assumed she had nowhere to go, so she ran.

The piece itself is a little jest at how players and characters make different choices. Either you can think strategically and play the game. Or you can think theatrically and Play your character.

Cassie is a high-charisma wizard. He's very - very - good with evocation: fire spells. Not so much anything else.
He ran away from the collage and home to seek adventure and his lost mother.

Fantasy prompt list, I think this one was "Faith"
Ivan as a cleric of Dusol, God of the Sun

It's somewhat literal interpretation, as in the AU Ivan had been raised in a monestary of monks, believing he was human.
He had a fire inside him that the monks taught him to suppress and deny, fearing it was evil. In truth Ivan was an angel, one of Dusol's children, and in surppressing himself he suppressed the connection to his father, leaving him without powers even when he needed them
