[OC Sophie & Eel] Refined WIP

Crunch-time rushed to finish the sketch last night so I could publish this to my socials today. Knowing I'd be traveling home from christmas at my parents' place. The eel's face looks bit wonky and my head's running on 5 hours of sleep. But I have something important I want to say on the internet. Luckily I drafted things like image captions in advance.

Most likely going to upload a copy of said text on my website, just in case Meta takes it down for health stuff.

Redraw / cleanup WIP, of a lecture doodle from last year. Wanted to work on something that hopefully isn't a 20 hour long project. Just cleanup and inking. Lineart is yummy and my soul's hungry for ink (. . ' )

[OC Michal, Sophie & Eels] WIP

Started working on a second illustration couple weeks back for world mental health day. Foolishly I thought I could finish inking and coloring it in two days; when in-fact I have 8 hours of speedpaint footage just to reach this wip. And after this, another two refining Michal's facial expression.

Took some thematic inspiration from Akseli Gallen-Kallela's painting "Lemminkäisen äiti" (1897, tempera painted on canvas).

Character fun fact: Both Lumi and Sebastian speak Finnish as their mother tongue. However only one of them... can spell their own name in the right inflection form... English is easy in that regard. Just add an extra 's at the end when indicating ownership.

[OC Jaakko & Michal] WIP (SFW - version...)

Decided to post a second cropped version of the piece I've been working on... Because I'm actually really proud of how spindly and "skin suit dressed" I managed to make Jaakko's hand.

Working on this whole illustration and giving it all my art attention. Over swapping between comic pages, script writing, making new reference sheets, etc assembly line style... has made me so much more happy??Even if I'm redrawing the same hand for 5 days in a row?

[OC cosplay: Silver as natori's cover art for Overdose]

University work has been really tough. Though getting to do our ex tempore medicine preparation labs on our own, is keeping my morale up. Working alone lets me take as long as my autistic brain and nervous system needs.

Also really enjoyed making pills with a Feton capsule filler. Even if a lot of us had problems with the machines getting stuck. The process was something more concrete than just mixing clear liquids in chemistry labs.

My university courses started on Monday. And O BOY, was that a start. Got 31 chemistry problems (soft)due tomorrow, after taking 3 days to solve 10 of them. Medication ingredient math hard, when brain soft and dyslexic.

[OC Lumi]

With late summer and early fall comes thunderstorms. While sitting in silence and wifiless, I tried to get used to drawing on my new emergency tablet and Medibang. My past emergency tablet being a hand me down ipad, I tried to learn Procreate with it. But that experience only left me with frustration and a very expensive pen, I every time wished to throw out the window like the piece of trash it was. /lh

Thus far the new tablet was so much more comfortable. Even without an art glove

Didn't manage to make anything for Pride month. So please accept this very late, very wip scribble of my two stinky old monster men.

Recently have been rewriting some aspects of them. Partly due to the chapter I'm working on involving them, partly due to their story having some gaps I never managed to solve. There are still some hard ones, but if nothing else comes out of my gay writing sessions, atleast I managed to make my best friend "not hate Michal (as much)" <3

[Shelved OC]

Few years back I took part in a Genshin Impact art challenge. I don't remember the exact character prompts, however my submission was a pyro/fire-claymore wielding genderless fox thief. Similarly to another character at the time, Mona, they could cloak in fire to escape.

Based on the signature date, I drew this exactly two weeks before the game's 2.0 update. I'm unsure if I knew another alternate sprint character was about to come out. But I do find the timing amusing if I didn't.
